Who Knew?

La Academia 4a Generación is a talent contest and reality show, which aired recently on Televisión Azteca in Mexico and Azteca America in the States. Azteca is now arranging a tour in the US where contestants will perform in at least seven different cities such as Dallas, Fresno, Los Angeles and Boise. ¿Qué? Turns out Boise, Idaho is the home of Edgar Guerrero one of La Academia's finalists. Edgar used to wash cars for a living before trying out for what the Idaho Statesman aptly described as a cross between "American Idol" and "The Real World."  This summer, according to the local CBS affil, Boise has been in the grips of Edgar-mania. The Boise concert is scheduled for the end of September.
